Warranty Policy
RAXTiFY Vinyl Wrap Warranty Policy
At RAXTiFY, we stand behind the quality of our vinyl wrap films. This Vinyl Wrap Warranty Policy explains what is covered, what is not covered, how long coverage may apply, and how to submit a warranty claim.
This policy applies to eligible RAXTiFY vinyl wrap products purchased directly from RAXTiFY or an authorized RAXTiFY sales channel.
Our Limited Warranty Commitment
Most eligible RAXTiFY vinyl wraps come with a 2-year limited warranty against confirmed product-related defects under normal use, proper installation, and regular care.
This is a limited product warranty for the vinyl film material only. It does not cover installation service, labor cost, removal cost, reinstallation cost, vehicle repainting, paint damage, loss of use, downtime, or any incidental or consequential damages.
Warranty coverage may vary depending on product type, finish, climate, surface exposure, installation quality, vehicle condition, storage, and maintenance.
Warranty Summary

| Chrome-style vinyl wraps | Not eligible for warranty | Arrival issues may still be reviewed before cutting or installation. |

Products Covered
This limited warranty applies to eligible RAXTiFY branded vinyl wrap films.
Covered products may include standard gloss, gloss metallic, matte, satin, color shift, pearl, glitter, laser, and other eligible vinyl wrap finishes, unless otherwise stated on the product page.
Some specialty finishes are excluded from the standard 2-year limited warranty. Please see the “Special Finish Warranty Exclusions” section below.
Vinyl Wrap Warranty Period
Most eligible RAXTiFY vinyl wraps include a 2-year limited warranty against confirmed product-related defects.
However, actual warranty eligibility and expected performance may vary by climate and panel exposure. Horizontal and non-vertical panels, such as hoods, roofs, trunks, bumpers, and sloped surfaces, usually receive more UV exposure, heat, rain, dust, and environmental stress than vertical side panels.
The following table is a general reference:
| Climate / Exposure Condition | Vertical Panels | Horizontal & Non-Vertical Panels |
|---|---|---|
| Hot / High-UV areas | Up to 2 years | Up to 1 year |
| Hot / Humid areas | Up to 2 years | Up to 1.5 years |
| Mild / Temperate areas | Up to 2 years | Up to 2 years |
| Cold climate areas | Up to 2 years | Up to 2 years |
| Dry / Dusty areas | Up to 2 years | Up to 1.5 years |
| Rainy / Cloudy areas | Up to 2 years | Up to 2 years |
This table is a reference only. Warranty approval depends on product condition, installation quality, care, vehicle surface condition, and the cause of the issue.

Special Finish Warranty Exclusions
Some specialty finish vinyl wraps are not eligible for RAXTiFY’s standard 2-year limited warranty.
This includes, but is not limited to:
-
Gloss chrome vinyl wrap
-
Mirror chrome vinyl wrap
-
Satin chrome vinyl wrap
-
Matte chrome vinyl wrap
-
Chrome-effect vinyl wrap
-
Color chrome vinyl wrap
-
Carbon fiber vinyl wrap
-
Textured vinyl wrap
-
Other specialty texture or high-sensitivity finish films, unless otherwise stated on the product page
Chrome-style, carbon fiber, textured, and specialty finish films are more sensitive to stretching, heat, scratches, handling marks, installation technique, surface condition, and environmental exposure. Because of this, RAXTiFY does not provide the standard 2-year performance warranty for these products after installation.
However, if a specialty finish product arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, please contact RAXTiFY customer support before cutting or installation. We will review the issue based on photos, videos, order details, and product condition.
Once a specialty finish film has been installed, cut, stretched, heated, modified, or used, it may no longer be eligible for replacement, exchange, refund, or warranty coverage.
Heat Damage, Sun Exposure, and Burn Marks
RAXTiFY’s limited warranty does not cover heat-related damage caused by improper installation, excessive heat, overheating, heat guns, torches, open flame, engine heat, exhaust heat, reflective heat, concentrated sunlight, or other external heat sources.
Burn marks, scorching, melting, discoloration, shrinkage, gloss loss, lifting, bubbling, or adhesive failure caused by excessive heat are not considered material defects and are not covered under warranty.
Long-term fading, weathering, UV exposure, environmental exposure, and normal wear and tear are also not covered. If a product shows unusual cracking, peeling, discoloration, or adhesive failure under normal use within the warranty period, RAXTiFY may review the issue on a case-by-case basis to determine whether it is a confirmed product-related defect.
Installation Disclaimer
RAXTiFY sells vinyl wrap film material. Unless otherwise stated in writing, RAXTiFY does not provide installation service and does not offer an installation warranty.
Professional installation is strongly recommended, especially for full vehicle wraps, bumpers, mirrors, deep curves, recessed areas, chrome finishes, carbon fiber films, and other specialty finishes.
Customers and installers are responsible for proper surface preparation, correct installation technique, proper use of heat, post-heating, trimming, edge finishing, and maintenance.
Improper installation or installer error is not covered under this warranty.
Removal Disclaimer
RAXTiFY vinyl wrap is designed to be removable without damaging factory OEM paint that is in good condition, when the film is properly installed and removed with care.
However, paint condition matters. Repainted surfaces, peeling clear coat, rust, dents, scratches, weak paint, poor surface preparation, improper installation, excessive heat, long installation age, or improper removal may increase the risk of paint damage.
RAXTiFY does not guarantee damage-free removal on all vehicles and does not cover paint damage, paint peeling, clear coat failure, repainting cost, removal cost, or reinstallation cost.

Vinyl Wrap Care Instructions
Proper care can help maintain the appearance and performance of your RAXTiFY vinyl wrap.
First 48 Hours After Installation
Avoid washing the vehicle for at least 48 hours after installation.
When possible, avoid rain, snow, high heat, and harsh environmental exposure during the initial curing period.
Regular Washing
Hand washing is recommended. Use clean water, pH-neutral soap, and a soft microfiber mitt or sponge.
Dry the surface with a clean microfiber towel after washing.
Washing Frequency
Regular cleaning helps reduce dirt, dust, road grime, bird droppings, tree sap, bugs, and pollution buildup.
For best results, clean the vehicle regularly and remove contaminants as soon as possible.
Pressure Washing
Avoid high-pressure washing directly on film edges, seams, corners, or lifted areas.
If pressure washing is necessary, keep a safe distance from the film surface and avoid spraying at a sharp angle toward the edges.
Automatic Car Washes
Avoid automatic car washes, especially brush-style car washes. Brushes, harsh detergents, and high-pressure systems may scratch, lift, dull, or damage the vinyl wrap.
Chemicals, Fuel, and Contaminants
Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents, fuel spills, abrasive cleaners, degreasers, and non-vinyl-safe products.
If fuel, bird droppings, tree sap, bugs, or other contaminants contact the film, clean the area promptly with a vinyl-safe cleaning method.
Wax, Polish, and Ceramic Coating
Do not use abrasive polish or traditional wax unless the product is confirmed to be safe for vinyl wrap.
Vinyl-safe ceramic coating may be used if applied correctly and if the coating is suitable for the specific film finish. Matte, satin, chrome, carbon fiber, and specialty finishes may require special care.
Parking and Storage
Whenever possible, park indoors, in a garage, or in a shaded area. Long-term direct sunlight, high heat, dust, rain, snow, pollution, and extreme weather may reduce the lifespan and appearance of vinyl wrap.
A breathable car cover may help protect the vehicle when outdoor parking is unavoidable.

RAXTiFY Color PPF Warranty Policy
RAXTiFY Color Paint Protection Film is backed by a limited warranty of up to 5 years, depending on climate, panel exposure, installation, use, and environmental conditions.
This warranty applies to eligible RAXTiFY Color PPF products purchased directly from RAXTiFY or an authorized RAXTiFY dealer.
Warranty Coverage
The RAXTiFY Color PPF Limited Warranty covers qualifying manufacturing defects that occur under normal use, including:
- Manufacturing-related cracking or delamination.
- Abnormal adhesive failure not caused by installation or surface preparation.
- Excessive discoloration or fading beyond normal environmental aging.
- Other verified manufacturing defects that materially affect the performance of the film.
Normal aging, gradual fading, minor appearance changes, and wear caused by normal environmental exposure are not considered manufacturing defects.
Warranty Period
Color PPF performance can vary depending on UV exposure, temperature, humidity, vehicle storage, road conditions, maintenance, and panel orientation.
As a general warranty reference:
| Climate / Exposure | Vertical Panels | Horizontal & Non-Vertical Panels |
|---|---|---|
| Hot / High-UV | Up to 4 Years | Up to 3 Years |
| Hot / Humid | Up to 4 Years | Up to 3 Years |
| Mild / Temperate | Up to 5 Years | Up to 4 Years |
| Cold Climate | Up to 5 Years | Up to 4 Years |
| Dry / Dusty | Up to 5 Years | Up to 4 Years |
| Rainy / Cloudy | Up to 5 Years | Up to 4 Years |
Horizontal and near-horizontal surfaces such as hoods, roofs, trunk lids, and upper body panels generally receive more direct UV and environmental exposure than vertical panels.
RAXTiFY may determine the applicable climate and exposure category based on the vehicle's primary location and operating conditions.
Warranty Conditions
Warranty eligibility requires:
- Installation over sound OEM / original factory paint.
- Proper surface preparation and installation according to applicable product instructions.
- Reasonable cleaning and maintenance of the film.
- Proof of purchase and sufficient information to verify the claim.
The warranty is tied to the original product installation and is not transferable to another vehicle or owner.
OEM Paint Requirement
RAXTiFY Color PPF warranty applies only when the film is installed over sound OEM / original factory paint.
RAXTiFY cannot guarantee the condition or adhesion of repainted, repaired, aftermarket-painted, peeling, oxidized, rusted, or otherwise compromised paint surfaces.
Paint lifting or paint damage occurring during installation or removal is not considered a Color PPF manufacturing defect.
What Is Not Covered
The RAXTiFY Color PPF Limited Warranty does not cover damage, failure, or appearance changes resulting from:
- Improper installation or insufficient surface preparation.
- Excessive stretching, overheating, incorrect installation techniques, or improper post-heating.
- Installation over repainted, repaired, damaged, rusted, peeling, or otherwise unsuitable surfaces.
- Accidents, collisions, scratches, stone impacts, vandalism, hail, flooding, or other external physical damage.
- Fuel, solvents, harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or incompatible detailing products.
- Improper pressure washing or automatic car washes that damage the film or its edges.
- Bird droppings, tree sap, insects, road contaminants, or other substances left on the film long enough to cause staining or chemical damage.
- Normal wear, gradual fading, weathering, or appearance changes caused by environmental exposure and aging.
- Differences in appearance between film installed at different times or from different production batches.
- Vehicle repainting, body repair, or modification after installation.
Limitation of Liability
This limited warranty is limited to the value of the affected RAXTiFY Color PPF material.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, RAXTiFY is not responsible for:
- Installation labor;
- Film removal costs;
- Reinstallation costs;
- Vehicle repainting or body repair;
- Loss of vehicle use;
- Downtime or lost income; or
- Incidental or consequential expenses associated with a warranty claim.
COLOR PPF CARE INSTRUCTIONS
First 72 Hours After Installation
Avoid washing the vehicle during the first 72 hours after installation.
Allow the film and adhesive sufficient time to settle, and inspect edges, corners and recessed areas during the first few days.
If lifting is noticed, contact the installer before contamination enters underneath the film.
Regular Washing
Hand washing is recommended.
Use clean water, a soft microfiber wash mitt and a mild pH-neutral automotive shampoo.
Do not aggressively scrub the film surface or edges.
Pressure Washing
Pressure washing should be used carefully.
Keep the nozzle a safe distance from the film and avoid directing high-pressure water directly at edges, seams, corners or lifted areas.
Automatic Car Washes
Touchless washes are generally preferable to brush-style automatic washes.
Repeated contact with aggressive brushes may create surface marks or place additional stress on film edges.
Bird Droppings, Tree Sap and Bugs
Remove bird droppings, tree sap, insects and similar contaminants as soon as practical.
Allowing contaminants to remain on the film—especially in direct sunlight or high temperatures—may cause staining or surface discoloration.
Wax, Polish and Ceramic Coating
Do not use abrasive polishing compounds or products containing harsh solvents.
Only use waxes, sealants or coatings specifically compatible with TPU paint protection film.
A compatible ceramic coating may make routine cleaning easier, but applying a ceramic coating does not extend the RAXTiFY warranty period.
