Quality Warranty
1. Top Protective film is included only on full rolls (59ft) of gloss vinyls.
For smaller, pre-cut pieces of glossy vinyl, the protective film is removed before shipping to ensure a smooth surface without air bubbles or creases. This does not affect the quality of the vinyl.
All matte/ satin vinyl wraps do not have a protective film, as their surface is naturally resistant to minor scratches and does not require additional protection.
59ft = full roll
69ft = full roll + 10ft pre-cut
75ft = full roll + 16ft pre-cut
2. Products ordered separately may have slight color variations due to different color lots.
3. Use a bubble remover/defoamer on the surface before applying for best results.
4. CAUTION! The images, colors, and finishes on the screen are approximate. For accuracy, refer to the color book or samples.

Gloss Black Forged Carbon Fiber Vinyl Wrap
Quick Summary
Gloss Black Forged Carbon Fiber Vinyl Wrap uses a black base with charcoal-gray forged-carbon fragments throughout the surface. It's not the same diagonal weave that you'll see in traditional carbon-fiber vinyl, but uses randomly sized, chopped-looking shapes of varying lengths and directions.
This dark fragmentary pattern is further highlighted by the gloss finish which provides distinct reflections. In brighter environments, highlights stand out more and increase the contrast between the black base and the gray fragments. The wrap appears darker overall under softer light or in the shade, but the forged-carbon pattern can still be seen rather than becoming a solid black surface.

What Does Gloss Black Forged Carbon Look Like?
This wrap is mainly black and graphite. Some sections lie close to the black backdrop, and other sections are charcoal or graphite, allowing the forged pattern to be more easily discerned. This gives it a more interesting pattern than a plain Gloss Black wrap, without making the overall color look silver or bright metallic.
Shape also affects the way the design looks. If the pattern is spread over a broad, flat surface like a hood, more pattern may be visible at a glance and the irregular pattern seems continuous. On curved areas, like the mirror caps, gloss highlights follow the panel shape and alter the contrast in the area as the angle at which you view it changes.
The pattern itself does not change color. What changes is the amount of reflected light across the gloss surface, which affects how strongly the graphite fragments contrast with the black base.
Forged Carbon vs Traditional Carbon Fiber
Typically, traditional carbon-fiber vinyl employs a pattern that's either woven or diagonal. This forged-carbon design features a random and fragmented look as opposed to the regular weave, with the orientation of the fragments varying.
This Gloss Black Forged Carbon has a more irregular black-and-graphite look, whereas traditional carbon has more of a repetitive, organized look.
It also differs from Solid Gloss Black. While solid black reflects mostly, this wrap will leave the visible graphite pattern underneath the gloss reflections.
Where the Forged Pattern Shows Best
A hood gives the pattern enough surface area to reveal the various sizes, directions and grays of the fragments more clearly. This is especially noticeable if the forged carbon is used as a contrast to solid paint.
Mirror caps have a different effect. Their tighter curves generate more reflection contrast, making the graphite fragments stand out more as the viewing angle changes.
The wrap may also be applied all over a car. On a full vehicle, the forged pattern becomes part of the car's overall surface rather than a small accent. From a distance the car still reads mainly as black, while the graphite fragments become clearer as you move closer or as reflections travel across the body.
Material and Installation Notes
It's an automotive PVC vinyl wrap. This film is directional, despite the non-uniform pattern. Ensure that the material is running in the same direction on successive panels, which will create a consistent forged pattern throughout the vehicle.
The adhesive has been formulated to minimise entrapped air and the film is a dry application type. It is a colour change PVC wrap, and is mainly used for styling, but does offer some protection against normal abrasion, UV exposure, contamination and light scratching.

FAQ
Q1. Is forged carbon fiber vinyl wrap real carbon fiber?
A: It is PVC automotive vinyl with a forged-carbon visual design. It does not have the structural or weight-saving properties of an actual forged-carbon vehicle component.
Q2. What is the difference between forged carbon and regular carbon fiber wrap?
A: The typical wrap pattern is repeated, woven, or diagonal as is common with regular carbon-fiber wrap. Forged carbon uses irregular, chopped up shapes in various directions, which give it a less repetitive look.
Q3. Is this Gloss Black Forged Carbon wrap directional?
A: Although the pattern is seemingly irregular, maintain the direction of the film in adjacent panels.
Q4. Is forged carbon vinyl the same as forged carbon PPF?
A: Forged carbon vinyl is a PVC colour change film mainly used for appearance, with secondary, limited surface protection. Typically, forged-carbon PPF is a TPU-based paint protection film that can offer a higher degree of physical paint protection.
Structure
Our wrap films consist of 4 layers designed to ensure exceptional performance:
The first layer serves as a protective barrier for the underlying vinyl.
Directly beneath, you'll find high-grade polymeric vinyl fortified with pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive.
Finally, a layer of 130um release plastic liner adds an extra level of quality to our wrap films. This plastic liner ensures a smoother, super glossy, and lustrous finish.

Frequently Asked Questions
RAXTiFY vinyl wrap is designed with air release channels to help reduce bubbles during installation, making it suitable for both professional installers and experienced DIY users.
However, installation difficulty may vary depending on the vehicle shape, surface condition, film finish, and installer experience. Full vehicle wraps, deep curves, bumpers, mirrors, chrome finishes, carbon fiber films, and other specialty finishes may require professional installation for the best result.
Yes. We recommend ordering a Small Size Sample before purchasing a full roll, especially if you are comparing colors or finishes.
Vinyl wrap color can look different under sunlight, shade, indoor lighting, camera settings, screen display, and different vehicle body lines. A sample helps you check the real color, finish, and texture before starting your wrap project.
Most RAXTiFY vinyl wraps come with a 2-year limited warranty against confirmed product-related defects. For full details, please read our RAXTiFY Warranty Policy.
RAXTiFY vinyl wrap is designed to last 2–3 years with proper installation and regular care.
Actual lifespan may vary depending on the film series, finish, climate, UV exposure, parking conditions, washing habits, and overall vehicle surface condition. Vehicles parked indoors or in shaded areas may help maintain the wrap’s appearance for longer.
For best results, hand wash the wrapped vehicle with clean water, pH-neutral soap, and a soft microfiber mitt or sponge. Dry the surface with a clean microfiber towel after washing.
Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, automatic car washes, polishing compounds, fuel spills, and high-pressure washing directly on film edges. Long-term exposure to intense sunlight, heat, rain, snow, dust, and pollution may affect the finish over time.
Yes. RAXTiFY vinyl wrap can be removed later when it is properly heated and removed with care.
Our vinyl wrap is designed to be removable without damaging factory OEM paint that is in good condition. For the safest result, we recommend professional removal, especially for full vehicle wraps, older installations, or vehicles with unknown paint history.
Please note that paint condition matters. Repainted surfaces, peeling clear coat, rust, dents, scratches, weak paint, or improper removal may increase the risk of paint damage.
