NOTE:

1. Top Protective film: Included only on full rolls (59ft) of gloss vinyls.

2. Shipping Time: 7–10 days (Free) | 5–7 days (Express).

For smaller, pre-cut pieces of glossy vinyl, the protective film is removed before shipping to ensure a smooth surface without air bubbles or creases. This does not affect the quality of the vinyl.

All matte/ Satin vinyl wraps do not have a protective film, as their surface is naturally resistant to minor scratches and does not require additional protection.

59ft = full roll
69ft = full roll + 10ft pre-cut
75ft = full roll + 16ft pre-cut

4. Products ordered separately may have slight color variations due to different color lots.

5. CAUTION! The images, colors, and finishes on the screen are approximate. For accuracy, refer to the color book or samples.

6. We prioritize sending films with PET backing liners. If unavailable, paper backing liners will be provided. Use a bubble remover/defoamer on the surface before applying for best results.

    Final Verdict

    Unlike regular red wraps, Color Shift Rainbow Drift Black Red Vinyl Wrap is a wrap that gives off a huge amount of visual impact via movement and lighting. The wrap is generally a deep black or dark charcoal in the shade, but has multiple tones of red, crimson and rainbow highlights across curves and body lines when in the sun. As a result, the finish appears more dramatic on wide-body vehicles, coupes and contemporary EV vehicles, which reflect constantly on the road. The color shift effect is more noticeable after dark in meetings, gas stations, and rolling shots than in photos taken while a car is parked in daylight and is probably more noticeable in Rainbow Drift finishes as opposed to standard gloss red wraps.

    FAQ About Color Shift Rainbow Drift Black Red Vinyl Wrap

    Q1. Does Rainbow Drift Black Red look more black or red in real life?

    A: The wrap is generally darker than what it looks like in photos on the internet. It tends to be black or graphite under murky or indoor lighting. The red and rainbow reflections are much more intense in direct sunlight, parking lot lighting or lighting of night streets, particularly on curved panels and edges.

    Q2. Why does Rainbow Drift wrap look different in videos compared with photos?

    A: Many color shift wraps enhanced more visual movement when in motion rather than in a still photograph. The shifting reflections are more apparent when the car is moving, due to different angles on the body reflecting at different times. That's why videos tend to appear more dramatic than images when they're rolling.

    Q3. Is Rainbow Drift Black Red difficult to keep clean?

    A: Darker colour shift films can still leave fingerprints, dust or swirl marks when exposed to direct sunlight as compared to lighter colour shift films. The rainbow reflection pattern tends to mask small imperfections more effectively, however, than solid gloss black, since it is a constantly changing color pattern rather than a continual dark reflection.

    Q4. What types of cars work best with Rainbow Drift Black Red wrap?

    A: It's often used on wide-body sports cars, Teslas, muscle cars, and sharp sport coupe designs, as the play of reflections is more noticeable in the larger curves and body lines. The color change on cars with flat panels will not be as noticeable as on vehicles with a sculpted surface.

    Q5. Does Rainbow Drift Black Red look too flashy for daily driving?

    A: This depends on the lighting conditions to a great extent. In daylight hours (when the sun is shining), the wrap can look surprisingly subtle and dark from a distance. Since the rainbow and red reflections tend to be stronger at night, during sunset or under artificial light sources, it is sometimes referred to as a “hidden effect” wrap rather than a bright wrap all the time.

    Q6. Why do some Rainbow Drift wraps look purple or orange in certain lighting?

    A: Color Shifting films are multi-wavelength, viewing angle and light source dependent. Red reflections could sometimes become crimson, magenta, orange or purple under LED lights, sunset lights or camera lenses that are more saturated. This is typical of high contrast wraps with iridescent coatings, not necessarily a problem with the wrap.

    Things You Should Know:

    Structure

    Our wrap films consist of 4 layers designed to ensure exceptional performance:

    The first layer serves as a protective barrier for the underlying vinyl.

    Directly beneath, you'll find high-grade polymeric vinyl fortified with pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive.

    Finally, a layer of top-tier 130um plastic liner adds an extra level of quality to our wrap films. This plastic liner ensures a smoother, super glossy, and lustrous finish.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Installation

    Is RAXTiFY vinyl easy to install?

    RAXTiFY vinyl wraps are made in line with professional uses.Others such as high-gloss, metallic, or glitter series are stiffer than the traditional wraps because of surface coating technology.Although the flat panels can be easily installed by the hands of skilled DIY users, it is highly advised that professional installation be done in complex curves and high visibility areas.

    Can I apply overlaminate on RAXTiFY vinyl?

    Overlamination should be avoided.Other coating layers can have an influence on surface transparency, bonding and durability.The original surface finish of RAXTiFY vinyl is developed to be the last visual coating.

    Maintenance & Protection

    How should I maintain RAXTiFY vinyl wraps?

    • Wash using pH-neutral car shampoo
    • Use a soft microfiber cloth or touchless wash
    • Pressure washers should remain under 2000 PSI

    Cleanse up the contaminants e.g. bird droppings, sap of trees or fuel residues as soon as possible to avoid staining.

    Can I use wax or polish on RAXTiFY vinyl?

    Vinyl specific spray waxes or sealants are only used; these are mostly used in gloss and metallic finishes.Abrasive polishes, cutting compounds or solvent based chemicals are to be avoided.Any product should always be tested on a small and inconspicuous part of the skin before it can be applied.

    Durability & Warranty

    How long does RAXTiFY vinyl wrap last?

    Wrap lifespan depends on multiple factors, including:

    • Film series and finish
    • Installation quality
    • Environmental exposure
    • Maintenance habits

    Although RAXTiFY films are designed to give non-textured finishes to the vehicle, the end result could depend on the painted state of the vehicle in the first place.The scratches, dents, rust, bubbles or orange peel that may be present before installation may be left and are not regarded as film defect.

    Will removing RAXTiFY vinyl damage my paint?

    RAXTiFY vinyl wraps should not harm factory paint when used on OEM paint that is in fine condition and removed without causing damage to the paint.

    Does storage affect wrap lifespan?

    Parking in interior parts or shaded parking areas mean a lot of less exposure to UV and environmental pressure.In case of an indoor storage, a breathable car cover will be recommended, as it will be helpful to maintain the quality of the finish and increase the wrap lifespan.
