NOTE:

1. Top Protective film is included only on full rolls (59ft) of gloss vinyls.

For smaller, pre-cut pieces of glossy vinyl, the protective film is removed before shipping to ensure a smooth surface without air bubbles or creases. This does not affect the quality of the vinyl.

All matte/ satin vinyl wraps do not have a protective film, as their surface is naturally resistant to minor scratches and does not require additional protection.

59ft = full roll
69ft = full roll + 10ft pre-cut
75ft = full roll + 16ft pre-cut

2. Products ordered separately may have slight color variations due to different color lots.

3. Use a bubble remover/defoamer on the surface before applying for best results.

4. CAUTION! The images, colors, and finishes on the screen are approximate. For accuracy, refer to the color book or samples.

Product Summary

Gloss Metallic Spring Green Vinyl Wrap has a medium green base color and features a metallic finish. In brighter reflections, the color can look cooler and more teal or aqua; other reflections will highlight a warmer yellow-green. But in the shade the green darkens and the metallic quality is reduced.

What Does Gloss Metallic Spring Green Look Like?

Spring Green is not simply one flat green. The medium green coloration of its base is altered in the perception of that green color under varying lighting conditions and viewing angles by the glossy metallic surface.

Cooler teal and aqua-green reflections may be seen on bright surfaces in direct sunlight. Warm yellow/green highlights might show in some areas where the metallic surface reflects light in a different way. These contrasts are less distinct in softer lighting and the color appears to be more uniformly green. Shaded areas look darker, less bright.

The changes are due to the interaction of light with the metallic finishes. Spring Green is not classified as a Color Shift or chameleon film, but instead remains a Gloss Metallic color.

What Is Spring Green Vinyl Wrap Made Of?

Spring Green consists of a polymeric calendered automotive vinyl which is primarily used for exterior color-change applications. It is provided with a PET release liner and a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive with air-release channels.

An air-release structure helps to release the trapped air from under the film during the application and the initial tack provides some positioning time before the film is fully set. Bubble-free installation requires skill, especially around complex curves, recessed areas, and areas where the film is stretched.

How Does Spring Green Compare with Similar Green Wraps?

Spring Green may appear to be in the same color family as mint, lime, and teal, but is not necessarily consistently in any of these color families.

Spring Green looks deeper and more vibrant than Mint Green. In general, gloss metallic mint green tends to look lighter and softer; the metallic contrast of Spring Green gives more contrast between light and shade.

Spring Green is less uniformly yellow than Gloss Lime Green. There can be warmer yellow-green highlights in some areas where the reflections are strong, but other areas can shift significantly towards teal or aqua.

When comparing Gloss Metallic Spring Green and Matte Metallic Spring Green, the finish is an important consideration. The gloss version will reflect light more clearly and give out more metallic luster. When the color direction is the same, a matte metallic surface will have a more subdued look than a shiny one because of the decreased sharp reflection.

What Should You Know Before Installing This Vinyl?

Gloss Metallic Spring Green is a directional film. Be consistent in the orientation of the film from adjacent panels to avoid the metallic reflectivity looking inconsistent from one panel to another.

The air-release adhesive can assist with positioning and releasing trapped air during application, but shape of panel remains important. There are areas of high tension such as bumpers, deep curves, recessed areas, edges and others that demand more control than broad and relatively flat panels. When using heat in the conforming phase, care must be taken to not overheat; post-heating is required for stretched or tensioned areas based on the installation specifications.

Do not use elongation-at-break data from the laboratory for installation as a recommended stretch limit. Install the film by adhering to the recommended working stretch and post-heating guidelines, not to the point of breaking the film..

How Long Can Spring Green Vinyl Wrap Last?

Vinyl lifespan depends on more than the color itself. The quality of installation, climate, exposure to UV, storage, washing routines and time spent outside can all influence the aging of the film.

Different conditions may exist in the horizontal areas, which are exposed to the sun, for example on the hood, roof and trunk, compared with the vertical side panels. The film may be maintained by regular cleaning and by limiting extended exposure to the environment as long as practicable, but the vinyl is not immune to fading or weathering over time.

Please note that an estimated lifespan should not be used as a warranty term and refer to the current RAXTiFY warranty for specific coverage and defect terms.

Spring Green Vinyl Wrap FAQ

Q1. Is Spring Green a Color Shift wrap?

A: It's a Gloss Metallic vinyl. The reflections of teal, aqua, green, and warmer yellow-green can show up more or less depending on the angle of light, but it is not a Color Shift or chameleon film.

Q2. Does Spring Green vinyl protect against rock chips?

A: Vinyl changes the surface appearance; rock-chip and impact protection are not its primary purpose. If such a protection is a primary consideration, PPF or Color PPF is a more relevant product category.

Q3. Should I order a sample before choosing Spring Green?

A: A sample can be useful when the exact shade matters. Metallic colors can look different under direct sunlight, shade, indoor lighting, and different viewing angles, so checking the film in your own lighting conditions can help before ordering a larger roll.

Structure

Our wrap films consist of 4 layers designed to ensure exceptional performance:

The first layer serves as a protective barrier for the underlying vinyl.

Directly beneath, you'll find high-grade polymeric vinyl fortified with pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive.

Finally, a layer of 130um release plastic liner adds an extra level of quality to our wrap films. This plastic liner ensures a smoother, super glossy, and lustrous finish.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is RAXTiFY vinyl easy to install?

RAXTiFY vinyl wrap is designed with air release channels to help reduce bubbles during installation, making it suitable for both professional installers and experienced DIY users.

However, installation difficulty may vary depending on the vehicle shape, surface condition, film finish, and installer experience. Full vehicle wraps, deep curves, bumpers, mirrors, chrome finishes, carbon fiber films, and other specialty finishes may require professional installation for the best result.

Can I order a sample before buying a full roll?

Yes. We recommend ordering a Small Size Sample before purchasing a full roll, especially if you are comparing colors or finishes.

Vinyl wrap color can look different under sunlight, shade, indoor lighting, camera settings, screen display, and different vehicle body lines. A sample helps you check the real color, finish, and texture before starting your wrap project.

Does this vinyl wrap come with a warranty?

Most RAXTiFY vinyl wraps come with a 2-year limited warranty against confirmed product-related defects. For full details, please read our RAXTiFY Warranty Policy.

How long does this vinyl wrap last?

RAXTiFY vinyl wrap is designed to last 2–3 years with proper installation and regular care.

Actual lifespan may vary depending on the film series, finish, climate, UV exposure, parking conditions, washing habits, and overall vehicle surface condition. Vehicles parked indoors or in shaded areas may help maintain the wrap’s appearance for longer.

How do I care for this vinyl wrap?

For best results, hand wash the wrapped vehicle with clean water, pH-neutral soap, and a soft microfiber mitt or sponge. Dry the surface with a clean microfiber towel after washing.

Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, automatic car washes, polishing compounds, fuel spills, and high-pressure washing directly on film edges. Long-term exposure to intense sunlight, heat, rain, snow, dust, and pollution may affect the finish over time.

Can I remove this vinyl wrap later?

Yes. RAXTiFY vinyl wrap can be removed later when it is properly heated and removed with care.

Our vinyl wrap is designed to be removable without damaging factory OEM paint that is in good condition. For the safest result, we recommend professional removal, especially for full vehicle wraps, older installations, or vehicles with unknown paint history.

Please note that paint condition matters. Repainted surfaces, peeling clear coat, rust, dents, scratches, weak paint, or improper removal may increase the risk of paint damage.
