NOTE:

1. Top Protective film is included only on full rolls (59ft) of gloss vinyls.

For smaller, pre-cut pieces of glossy vinyl, the protective film is removed before shipping to ensure a smooth surface without air bubbles or creases. This does not affect the quality of the vinyl.

All matte/ satin vinyl wraps do not have a protective film, as their surface is naturally resistant to minor scratches and does not require additional protection.

59ft = full roll
69ft = full roll + 10ft pre-cut
75ft = full roll + 16ft pre-cut

2. Products ordered separately may have slight color variations due to different color lots.

3. Use a bubble remover/defoamer on the surface before applying for best results.

4. CAUTION! The images, colors, and finishes on the screen are approximate. For accuracy, refer to the color book or samples.

Gloss Black Red Mini Forged Carbon Fiber Vinyl Wrap

The Gloss Black Red Mini Forged Carbon Fiber Vinyl Wrap is a mix of black and red colors in a pattern that is irregular rather than repeating a woven carbon-fiber pattern. The surface consists of smaller broken sections, making the black and red sections of the film tighter and more concentrated.

The gloss finish creates a clearer surface reflection and helps to distinguish the red and darker parts more easily when looking directly at the light. The red parts are more prominent and the pattern more defined in bright light. In shade or lower indoor light, the black sections become more visually dominant and the red fragments appear less pronounced.

What Makes the Mini Forged Carbon Pattern Different?

The term “mini” is used to indicate the “scale” of the forged pattern. The pieces are smaller and more disjointed than regular forged carbon, giving it a finer, more densely textured appearance.

The single red and black pieces are more easily discernible up close. From a distance, those smaller pieces read as a more continuous black-red surface rather than a few large forged-style fragments.

The difference is in appearance, primarily. Mini Forged Carbon is not a new carbon material or a greater level of protection. It refers to the pattern scale within the forged-carbon-style vinyl series.

Mini Forged Carbon vs Regular Forged Carbon

The main difference is the size and density of the pattern.

Regular forged carbon will have bigger, irregular pieces, meaning each piece will stand out in a panel. Mini Forged Carbon creates a tighter, denser texture.

Regular Forged Carbon is used to show wider parts of the pattern in larger panels, whilst Mini Forged Carbon will create a finer and continuous surface. For smaller accents or interior pieces, the smaller pieces are able to retain more of the pattern in the smaller space.

How Is Forged Carbon Different from Traditional Carbon Fiber Wrap?

The woven pattern is typically found on the traditional carbon-fiber-style vinyl, and it has lines that run in a more structured manner. In forged carbon, the fragments are irregular and scattered, rather than forming a consistent weave pattern.

The Mini Forged Carbon pattern is similar in breakage and direction of the pattern, but the size of the pieces is smaller.

This product is a forged-carbon styled automotive vinyl wrap. It's not actually forged carbon or a structural carbon-fiber composite. It serves as a colour change and surface wrap film and is intended to simulate the look of forged carbon.

Where Does Black Red Mini Forged Carbon Work Best?

On a hood, roof, or other large panel, the smaller fragments create a denser black-red pattern that reads more continuously across the surface. In smaller areas such as mirrors, trim pieces, consoles etc., the smaller fragmented pieces mean that more of the forged pattern will be visible, rather than just a few larger pieces.

It can also be used to cover a larger area of a car if a full forged-carbon look is desired. The black and red pattern is a very active pattern making the effect more pronounced as the percentage of surface covered gets higher.

What Should You Know Before Installing Mini Forged Carbon Vinyl?

Adjacent panels should be installed in the same pattern - Mini Forged Carbon is a directional patterned film. While the color might be the same, some patterns may appear very different when rotated from one panel to the next.

The film features an automotive wrapping structure of PET liner with air-release adhesive. To avoid distortion of small forged pieces and pattern changes, excessive stretching should be avoided. It can be done through heat and controlled stretching around curves and edges.

The gloss surface can make installation marks and trapped debris easier to notice, especially on larger flat panels, so surface preparation and consistent squeegee work matter.

What Size Should You Choose?

All RAXTiFY Mini Forged Carbon vinyl sizes are 5 ft (60 in) wide. Choose the length based on the area you plan to cover:

  • 1–3 ft: Samples, small interior trim, or small accent pieces.
  • 6 ft: A fender or other small exterior panels and accents.
  • 10 ft: One hood, roof, trunk, front or rear bumper, or side skirt.
  • 20 ft: Two doors or a combination of several smaller panels.
  • 33 ft: Larger partial wraps covering multiple sections of the vehicle.
  • 49 ft: Suitable for a full wrap on some smaller compact cars. Check the vehicle dimensions before ordering.
  • 59 ft: A full roll and the recommended starting size for many coupes, sedans, and some compact vehicles.
  • 69 ft: Better suited to larger sedans and many SUVs where a 59 ft roll leaves too little working material.
  • 75 ft or more: Recommended for larger SUVs, trucks, widebody vehicles, or projects that require additional installation margin.

This Mini Forged Carbon film is directional, so panel orientation and cutting layout can increase material use. Complex bumpers, aftermarket body parts, door jambs, or installation mistakes may also require additional film.

FAQ

Q1. Is Mini Forged Carbon real carbon fiber?

A: This is automotive vinyl with a forged-carbon-style pattern. It is not structural forged carbon or replacement of carbon-fiber composite parts.

Q2. What is the difference between Mini Forged Carbon and regular Forged Carbon?

A: Mini Forged Carbon employs small, more fractured shapes. Larger forged style pieces are used in Regular Forged Carbon, making the pattern look more open and individually defined.

Q3. Does the black-red color shift in different lighting?

A: It does not shift from one dominant color to another like a color-shift film. Lighting can still change the apparent brightness, contrast, and visibility of the red and black fragments.

Q4. Can Mini Forged Carbon vinyl be used on interior trim?

A: The smaller fragmented pattern is great for interior trim, console pieces and other smaller areas where a bigger forged-carbon pattern might not give the detail.

Structure

Our wrap films consist of 4 layers designed to ensure exceptional performance:

The first layer serves as a protective barrier for the underlying vinyl.

Directly beneath, you'll find high-grade polymeric vinyl fortified with pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive.

Finally, a layer of 130um release plastic liner adds an extra level of quality to our wrap films. This plastic liner ensures a smoother, super glossy, and lustrous finish.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is RAXTiFY vinyl easy to install?

RAXTiFY vinyl wrap is designed with air release channels to help reduce bubbles during installation, making it suitable for both professional installers and experienced DIY users.

However, installation difficulty may vary depending on the vehicle shape, surface condition, film finish, and installer experience. Full vehicle wraps, deep curves, bumpers, mirrors, chrome finishes, carbon fiber films, and other specialty finishes may require professional installation for the best result.

Can I order a sample before buying a full roll?

Yes. We recommend ordering a Small Size Sample before purchasing a full roll, especially if you are comparing colors or finishes.

Vinyl wrap color can look different under sunlight, shade, indoor lighting, camera settings, screen display, and different vehicle body lines. A sample helps you check the real color, finish, and texture before starting your wrap project.

Does this vinyl wrap come with a warranty?

Most RAXTiFY vinyl wraps come with a 2-year limited warranty against confirmed product-related defects. For full details, please read our RAXTiFY Warranty Policy.

How long does this vinyl wrap last?

RAXTiFY vinyl wrap is designed to last 2–3 years with proper installation and regular care.

Actual lifespan may vary depending on the film series, finish, climate, UV exposure, parking conditions, washing habits, and overall vehicle surface condition. Vehicles parked indoors or in shaded areas may help maintain the wrap’s appearance for longer.

How do I care for this vinyl wrap?

For best results, hand wash the wrapped vehicle with clean water, pH-neutral soap, and a soft microfiber mitt or sponge. Dry the surface with a clean microfiber towel after washing.

Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, automatic car washes, polishing compounds, fuel spills, and high-pressure washing directly on film edges. Long-term exposure to intense sunlight, heat, rain, snow, dust, and pollution may affect the finish over time.

Can I remove this vinyl wrap later?

Yes. RAXTiFY vinyl wrap can be removed later when it is properly heated and removed with care.

Our vinyl wrap is designed to be removable without damaging factory OEM paint that is in good condition. For the safest result, we recommend professional removal, especially for full vehicle wraps, older installations, or vehicles with unknown paint history.

Please note that paint condition matters. Repainted surfaces, peeling clear coat, rust, dents, scratches, weak paint, or improper removal may increase the risk of paint damage.
