Its cool slate-gray finish features restrained blue undertones and a smooth reflective surface. The film helps reduce exposure to chips, minor abrasions, road debris, and environmental wear while giving the vehicle a polished, contemporary color upgrade for daily use.
Product Description
Ultra Gloss Slate Gray Paint Protection Film is a colored automotive protection film made from Thermoplastic Polyurethane. It is designed to provide a cool gray exterior finish while adding a sacrificial protective layer over the vehicle’s original paint.
The Slate Gray color contains subtle blue undertones. Its appearance may range from a neutral medium gray to a cooler blue-gray depending on sunlight, indoor lighting, viewing angle, and nearby reflections. The ultra-gloss surface increases clarity and creates a smooth, reflective finish across properly prepared panels.
TPU offers the flexibility needed to conform around common vehicle curves and body contours when installed correctly. Once applied, the film helps protect painted surfaces from small rock chips, light scratches, road debris, insect contamination, and normal environmental exposure.
Color PPF should be installed using the recommended wet-application process by an experienced installer. Proper paint preparation, slip-solution control, stretching technique, edge management, and curing conditions can all affect the final result. A physical sample is recommended because digital images may not reproduce the exact color accurately.
