NOTE:

1. Top Protective film: Included only on full rolls (59ft) of gloss vinyls.

2. Shipping Time: 7-10 days (Free) | 3-5 days (Express).

For smaller, pre-cut pieces of glossy vinyl, the protective film is removed before shipping to ensure a smooth surface without air bubbles or creases. This does not affect the quality of the vinyl.

All matte/ Satin vinyl wraps do not have a protective film, as their surface is naturally resistant to minor scratches and does not require additional protection.

59ft = full roll
69ft = full roll + 10ft pre-cut
75ft = full roll + 16ft pre-cut

4. Products ordered separately may have slight color variations due to different color lots.

5. CAUTION! The images, colors, and finishes on the screen are approximate. For accuracy, refer to the color book or samples.

6. We prioritize sending films with PET backing liners. If unavailable, paper backing liners will be provided. Use a bubble remover/defoamer on the surface before applying for best results.

5D Carbon Fiber Black Vinyl Wrap

Product Overview

The 5D Carbon Fiber Black Vinyl Wrap is a black vinyl wrap with a woven carbon fiber design that provides a darker and more dramatic appearance than traditional carbon wraps. The texture and controlled reflection add a three-dimensional look to the wrap, while maintaining a dark carbon fiber finish.

What Does 5D Carbon Fiber Mean?

5D Carbon Fiber refers to a shiny layered carbon fiber vinyl wrap that provides a more dimensional appearance than standard carbon fiber vinyl patterns. The 5D name is a market term for the wraps visual effect, which gets woven carbon fiber to the surface reflection. It does not necessarily indicate that the wrap is actually made of carbon fibre.

5D Carbon Fiber Black Vinyl Wrap has a more depth and glossy surface and layered weave look compared to flatter or lower-gloss carbon fiber patterns. The result is a more sinister, three-dimensional look with some movement of light on the panel.

The wrap is mostly black in a normal range of viewing distances and is glossy. The woven pattern of carbon fiber is more evident when viewed in close-up or in strong sunlight and appears to be in layers.

5D Carbon Fiber is a popular choice for drivers looking for a more dramatic carbon fiber aesthetic without the expense or permanent changes of using carbon fiber components. It can be used in applications like hood, roof, spoiler, mirror cap, interior trim and accent applications.

5D vs 3D vs 6D Carbon Fiber: What Is the Difference?

The 3D, 5D, and 6D carbon fibers are quite similar, but they have a few distinctions.There are a few differences between 3D, 5D and 6D Carbon Fiber.

Carbon Fiber Type Appearance Light Reflection Best For
3D Carbon Fiber A traditional woven carbon pattern with a simpler texture appearance Lower visual depth Choose this if you prefer a classic carbon fiber look with a more subtle appearance.
5D Carbon Fiber A deeper woven pattern with a glossy surface and a stronger layered effect Balanced reflection and depth Choose this if you want a realistic carbon fiber style with noticeable depth for daily builds, hoods, roofs, spoilers, or interior accents.
6D Carbon Fiber A more pronounced depth effect with stronger gloss and a more dramatic carbon appearance Higher reflection and visual impact Choose this if you want a more aggressive show-car style with stronger reflections and visual impact.

Is 5D Carbon Fiber Right For You?

For those of you seeking a carbon fiber look that is deeper and shinier than a standard carbon black finish, but don't want the vehicle to have too high of reflection, 5D Carbon Fiber Black Vinyl Wrap is a more balanced choice for the everyday driver.

5D Carbon Fiber is particularly effective if you're looking to have the carbon pattern visible close-up, but not from a distance. The shiny black surface gives a clean overall appearance and the layered weave becomes more prominent in some lighting or when viewed from various angles.

Our wrap films consist of 4 layers designed to ensure exceptional performance:

The first layer serves as a protective barrier for the underlying vinyl.

Directly beneath, you'll find high-grade polymeric vinyl fortified with pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive.

Finally, a layer of 130um release plastic liner adds an extra level of quality to our wrap films. This plastic liner ensures a smoother, super glossy, and lustrous finish.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is RAXTiFY vinyl easy to install?

RAXTiFY vinyl wrap is designed with air release channels to help reduce bubbles during installation, making it suitable for both professional installers and experienced DIY users.

However, installation difficulty may vary depending on the vehicle shape, surface condition, film finish, and installer experience. Full vehicle wraps, deep curves, bumpers, mirrors, chrome finishes, carbon fiber films, and other specialty finishes may require professional installation for the best result.

Can I order a sample before buying a full roll?

Yes. We recommend ordering a Small Size Sample before purchasing a full roll, especially if you are comparing colors or finishes.

Vinyl wrap color can look different under sunlight, shade, indoor lighting, camera settings, screen display, and different vehicle body lines. A sample helps you check the real color, finish, and texture before starting your wrap project.

Does this vinyl wrap come with a warranty?

Most RAXTiFY vinyl wraps come with a 2-year limited warranty against confirmed product-related defects.

This warranty does not cover improper installation, overheating, overstretching, scratches, accidents, harsh chemicals, normal wear and tear, environmental damage, paint damage during removal, or issues caused by poor surface condition.

Some specialty finishes, including chrome and 3D/5D/6D carbon fiber vinyl wraps, may not be eligible for the standard 2-year limited warranty.

For full details, please read our RAXTiFY Warranty Policy.

How long does this vinyl wrap last?

RAXTiFY vinyl wrap is designed to last approximately 2–3 years with proper installation and regular care.

Actual lifespan may vary depending on the film series, finish, climate, UV exposure, parking conditions, washing habits, and overall vehicle surface condition. Vehicles parked indoors or in shaded areas may help maintain the wrap’s appearance for longer.

How do I care for this vinyl wrap?

For best results, hand wash the wrapped vehicle with clean water, pH-neutral soap, and a soft microfiber mitt or sponge. Dry the surface with a clean microfiber towel after washing.

Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, automatic car washes, polishing compounds, fuel spills, and high-pressure washing directly on film edges. Long-term exposure to intense sunlight, heat, rain, snow, dust, and pollution may affect the finish over time.

Can I remove this vinyl wrap later?

Yes. RAXTiFY vinyl wrap can be removed later when it is properly heated and removed with care.

Our vinyl wrap is designed to be removable without damaging factory OEM paint that is in good condition. For the safest result, we recommend professional removal, especially for full vehicle wraps, older installations, or vehicles with unknown paint history.

Please note that paint condition matters. Repainted surfaces, peeling clear coat, rust, dents, scratches, weak paint, or improper removal may increase the risk of paint damage.
